akshman Jhula is a suspension bridge over the Ganges, located 5 km northeast of Rishikesh. It connects Tapovan (west bank) to Jonk (east bank) and is used by both pedestrians and motorbikes. After an early breakfast, drive to Pelling (75 km / 4-5 hours), located in West Sikkim at 2072 meters (6800 feet). Pelling offers stunning views of the Himalayan peaks, including Koktang, Frey, Rathong, Kabru, and more (weather permitting), along with dense forests, waterfalls, and peaceful trekking routes. It’s also a great spot for adventure sports. Foreigners need an Inner Line Permit to enter Sikkim, so bring photo ID and permit photos.
